one day never, in the far distant completely unforeseeable future,
i will never stop changing.
i fear that the death of our minds, is the minute we are content with our state and status in life.
i mean, being satisfied is one thing, but I think we can never achieve any kind of perfect state.
once someone thinks they have reached the pinnacle of "success",
according to their ruler, yard stick, scale, or other respective measuring device
increase it exponentially.
think inches to feet,
then feet to miles.
think in different terms,
miles to pounds,
pounds to fahrenheit,
and then
all of that to
lightyears.
success is held up by the consensus of society.
they should never be a barometer of your endeavors.
we need reminders that standing in one place, will cause the roots of everything
surrounding to overtake us.
we need reminders that if we float for too long, we will exhaust and drown.
staring at the sun makes you blind.
so all of your dreams,
the ones you have at night that make you think of all the yesterdays,
and the ones during the days that make you think of the tomorrow's.
these are your own, and can never be taken.

our modern day comics
has it ever occured?
that in our search for a modern day hero or some kind of role model to look up to,
we find ourselves looking for the villians our hero can fight?
why are there no conventional heros?
because there are no conventional villians.
so our superman, batman, and what-ever man has become un-employed and uneeded.
no white knight valiantly riding in to save the day
no unjustices to fight! no evil overlord to overthrow!
there is simply
no fucking contrast
between
what is
good
and
bad.
good and evil is no longer a timeless issue, because theres now a gray void in between the two that is incresingly subjective.
evil republicans?
or
self-righteous conservatives?
bloodsucking democrats?
or
understanding liberals.
everything is just to subjective now days.
everything is to politically incorrect.
as if one needs approval to state an opinion contrary to popular belief.
censor - censor -censor - censor
batman just isn't politically correct.

i think the epitome of happiness is found in human companionship,
because it is by far the most beautiful thing on Earth.
we look for all these different things to satisfy and make us feel complete but it lies in the company we keep.
its when we disregard common interests and physical barriers we are truly content.
true love involves making exceptions to achieve what we think is perfect.
because perfection is never achieved until we tear down our filters and standards
and view them flawless/

happy may
operator, connect me to the rest of the world.
connect me to the people who will scream passion.
connect me to the people who will leak chemistry.
my moods have aged like cheap wine,
in an effort to feel free i have barreled these feelings up,
but they have fermented for too long, and now i taste bitter,
as if all the bad sediments have settled to the bottom.
or maybe its more like champagne?
i have been shaken in anticipation for a celebration,
only to be set down for the next year.
i am waiting, contemplating,
sitting in a stagnant state
hoping-eager to explode-all-of-my-feelings on someonesomethinganything?!
excuse ma'am, but where have you misplaced my mind?
